Who we support

Buntwald has set itself the goal of doing good with the proceeds from its cultural events. The donations are intended to support associations and organizations that are active in the region or are active in the world from here. Therefore, the BUNTWALD Festival 2025 should benefit these two associations:

Polio Aid Kenia Oberwolfach

The Polio Aid Kenya from Oberwolfach has been committed to helping people with disabilities in Kenya, especially those affected by polio, for more than 30 years. The organization supports people with medical care, wheelchairs and other aids. The charity also places great emphasis on providing a good education for children with disabilities in Kenya. The wide range of aid improves the living conditions of many people in the East African country.

Wünschewagen Südbaden

The South Baden Wish Ambulance (dt.: Wünschewagen) fulfills the last wish of terminally ill people. Since March 2023, volunteers have been accompanying them in a specially equipped vehicle to their dream destination. Sitting by the sea one last time, watching a last soccer match of your favorite club live in the stadium or witnessing your daughter’s wedding on site – the valuable project of the German Workers’ Samaritan Federation (dt.: Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB)) tries to make all these wishes possible and grants those affected as well as their relatives some very special moments.
