Buntwald donates to polio aid
1000 euros from catering at the Kreuzsattelhütte / Festival planned for 2025

Two of Oberwolfach’s clubs working for a good cause: BUNTWALD supports Poliohilfe with 1,000 euros. The money comes from the proceeds of hosting the Kreuzsattelhütte, which BUNTWALD undertook in the summer. “The money is in the right place at the Polio Association,” said treasurer Christine Schmid happily at the donation handover. After all, Polio Aid helps people in need in Kenya – and there, every cent is very much needed, says Chairman Otto Bonath.
BUNTWALD plans to host the Kreuzsattelhütte again next year, before planning another big festival in 2025. The festival will take place as part of the 750th anniversary celebrations of the municipality of Oberwolfach and will be the highlight of the festival weekend on Saturday. The eleven members already have some initial ideas for the line-up. “We are highly motivated and are really keen to get back to planning,” says chairman Julian Bonath.
