Picnic Concert
BUNTWALD invites you to a picnic concert in Oberwolfach Mitteltal on Saturday, July 24. Music by Fabian Oehler and Finn & Jonas.
What could be better than sitting outside in the summer with a cool drink in your hand, relaxing with friends and snacking on goodies from the picnic basket? If cool music is playing at the same time! BUNTWALD invites you to the picnic concert in Oberwolfacher Mitteltal on Saturday, July 24. Entrance opens at 6 p.m.. The rule is: We bring the music - you bring your picnic blankets.
First a local artist will provide the appropriate summer sound, then one of Germany’s up-and-coming festival acts will perform. Fabian Oehler from Schapbach is no longer unknown in the Wolftal. With guitar and powerful vocals he impresses regularly on stages in the region, for example at the “Helpfest” or at the “Moosenmättle Open Air”. He starts around 7:30 pm. Afterwards, there’s “Pop ausm Pott” - because “Finn and Jonas”, twins from Dortmund, not only share their parents, but also the passion for music. Their songs are not (only) about love, but also about socially critical topics, which the two address with an ironic undertone.
Bring your own picnic blankets and snacks. We will take care of cool drinks and a chill atmosphere. Tickets are available for picnic fields of six people and cost 125 Euros. If you want to have one of the limited fields, write an email to with your name, address and phone number until Sunday, July 11. If there are more people interested than places, there will be a random lottery.
FAQs
The safety and health of visitors, staff and artists is our top priority. Please note that due to the dynamic Corona situation, the regulations can still change until the event and must be adapted.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available exclusively for fixed picnic fields, where six people can sit. Anyone wishing to purchase a six-person seat should email - and include their name, address and phone number - by Sunday, July 11. If there are more interested people than seats, a draw will be held.
Does one ticket count per person or per blanket?
Ticket counts per six-person picnic field. Six admission wristbands will be mailed upon receipt of payment. Whether you bring one, two or three picnic blankets for your spot is up to you.
How do I know where my spot is?
The picnic areas will be numbered. At the entrance, you will show your entrance wristbands and will be assigned your spot on the grounds. There you can roll out your blankets.
Paths for entry and exit will be marked to allow for minimum spacing. We recommend that you wear a mouth-nose protection when you are on the premises - i.e. when you go to the bar, to the toilet, etc.
Can I bring foods or drinks to the concert?
You are welcome to bring your own snacks - but grills of any kind stay at home. A small selection of food and cool drinks will be available for purchase.
Will my contact information be collected?
The purchaser of the ticket registers with name, address and telephone number. The other picnic guests will give their contact details on the day of the event on site. We will hand out a corresponding form.
What happens in case of bad weather on the day of the event?
If it rains on the day of the event, pack an umbrella in addition to the picnic blanket. If, contrary to expectations, the weather is such that the concert cannot take place, it will be postponed. The tickets will then remain valid.
When can I start attending a concert?
Children up to and including the age of 13 do not need a ticket and can therefore also sit in a seat for six if there are already six adults sitting there. Children and young people under the age of 16 can only attend the concert if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Can I attend the picnic concert as a wheelchair user?
The concert will take place in the middle of a green field. The area is therefore unfortunately not barrier-free.
How do I get to the concert site?
Best on foot or by bike 😊
