Buntwald presents festival date

Save the published: On the 1st + 2nd of July 2022 we will bring color to the Black Forest!

Attention festival fans: We have a date for you to mark boldly in your calendars! On Friday and Saturday, 1st and 2nd of July 2022, we will finally celebrate the BUNTWALD Festival with you in Oberwolfach! On both days, our focus will be the goal we set for ourselves when we founded the festival: to promote culture in the region. Therefore, we have further developed the festival concept compared to the original idea — the premiere was actually already planned for 2020, then came Corona, as you know. What’s new: On Friday, we invite you to an “open stage”! With this, we want to involve regional artists to a greater extent. Anything that’s fun is allowed: whether it’s solo musicians, bands, poetry slammers or magicians - we’re looking forward to seeing you!

Saturday is then all about the music. The line-up is fixed, but nothing gets revealed yet. All we can say is that the guests can look forward to a colorful mix — and to musicians who really want to play at the idyllic venue in the middle of the green meadow in Mitteltal! Plus: one or two of the artists might be familiar to the visitors …

We will donate the majority of the profits to social institutions and organizations that operate in the region or come from the region and do good in the world.
